The Virtual Field portal assists field stations and marine laboratories in sharing educational digital media and events with a national audience, and participating in collaborative virtual field projects. Projects are designed to be low effort and highlight the value of field station and marine laboratory networks.

The Virtual Field portal is made for faculty in all disciplines interested in developing student observation, communication, and research skills. Our goal is to help you find materials and events that you can use to teach students how to study the biomes of the earth. We hope that you and your students will respond to short surveys meant to improve teaching materials and events.
