Contribute an Ecosystem Exploration Video

Ecosystem Exploration Videos are 5-minute videos that teach students observation and communication skills as they explore ecosystems around the world. This form allows you to contribute a video from your field site for inclusion in the EE Video searchable library.  Your submission will be reviewed for consistency with the guidelines, we will attach the Google fly-in and your branding slide, and then contact you for final approval prior to posting.

This form cannot be saved so make sure to have the following resources on hand: 

  • Link where we can download your video such as Google Drive (YouTube does not allow downloads.) 
  • Video guide 
  • Branding slide

Content Details

Please provide details about the video you are submitting. This information will be provided to faculty and students viewing your video.
Enter a shortened version of the name of your field station or marine laboratory follwed by the habitat type. Example: Galbreath Wildlands Oak Woodland
This description lets instructors know what you focus on in the video (example: “Exploration of a forested watershed in an agricultural community”).
A short paragraph explaining what is featured in the video.
Provide a link to a Google Drive, Box or other location where we can download your video. (YouTube links do not allow video downloads.)
Leave blank. We will work with you to create the annotated video once the content is reviewed.
This appears next to your video on the search page. Make sure the dimensions are 600 x 300px.
The slide will be added to the beginning of your video.

Contact Information

Enter information about the site where the video was captured. This information appears on the video’s webpage.

This section is about the location where this video was recorded. The information makes your video searchable as part of in the EE Video Library.
