Rush Ranch: Site 1 Autumn 2022 – Brackish Wetland and Grassland

You are in a grassy field looking out into the tidal marsh at Rush Ranch Open Space Preserve in Suisun City, California. Rush Ranch is one of the best remaining examples of a brackish tidal marsh habitat in the United States. Approximately 230 species of birds have been seen in the marsh and grassland habitats. Grasslands include spring wildflowers and native bunchgrass.
