Rush Ranch: Site 2 Spring 2022 – Brackish Wetland

You are on the edge of upland grass habitat looking out into the tidal marsh at Rush Ranch Open Space Preserve in Suisun City, California. Rush Ranch is one of the best remaining examples of brackish tidal marsh habitat in the United States. Approximately 230 species of birds have been seen in the marsh and grassland habitats. Grasslands include spring wildflowers and native bunchgrass.
