Vegetation Types: Deciduous lowland forest, including boxelder, tulip trees and oaks in the young canopy. Some mature sycamore and walnut. Previously full of ash trees, now decimated by emerald ash borer. Understory heavy with spicebush, coral berry. Dominant herbaceous plants include grasses, buttercups, honeysuckle, poison ivy, ground ivy, violets, wingstem and crownbeard.
