Lacawac Sanctuary Mixed Hardwood Forest Protected from Deer Browsing: Site 6 Summer 2025

A mixed hardwood forest located in the Pocono Mountain region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are inside an area enclosed by a 10-foot high fence designed to exclude white tailed deer, the dominant large herbivore in this forest. Therefore, the forest in the video has been protected from deer browsing for approximately 30 years.
