Merced Vernal Pools and Grassland Reserve Site 1: Summer 2025 – Freshwater Wetland

Here we are immersed in a seasonal wetland. This area is a grassaland and it is spring so the land is wet, the weather is cool and overcast. While most people think the grassland is flat, here you get to visit the cliff site which is anything but flat.
