Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve: Site 2 Spring 2022 – Creek in Chaparral and Oak Woodland

Perennial creek in Valley Oak Woodland and chaparral in northern California, USA. We are standing on the east bank of lower Wild Horse Creek. This site is an ecotone where riparian trees and shrubs meet Valley Oak woodland and chaparral. The creek is visible running north-south just west of where we are standing.
