We are on a grassy Blue Oak hillside in California, USA. You can see stunted old Blue Oak growing on a rocky outcrop. Most of the area is dominated by grasses and you can also see a well-established, old patch of Heart-Leaf Milkweed (Asclepias cordifolia).
