Lacawac Sanctuary Vernal Pool: Site 4 Winter 2024

A forested vernal pool located in the Pocono Mountain region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The pool is situated in a temperate hardwood forest and extends through the visible area. The pool varies in depth based on slight changes in elevation with moss and fern tussocks forming in raised areas.
